iMRS Mat is produced by Swiss Bionic Solutions, originally from Switzerland they have since expanded into different locations across the globe. It, like the Bemer Mat group produced a mat that has used PEMF technology for the past two decades and was one of the first movers in the PEMF devices industry.

They, just like Bemer mat are an MLM company which relies on direct sales strategies to encourage their existing distributors to recruit new ones by offering a certain percentage for successful recruitments. They have recently changed this structure into a distribution method although when going through the registration process they still ask who referred you. Another thing that tipped me off is this…

“Swiss Bionic Solutions products are sold exclusively by our independent and certified Lifestyle Consultants. And that for good reason: They are the only persons who can provide you with top-quality and knowledgeable advice. They are also available for any questions you may have after purchasing a Swiss Bionic Solutions product.”

So the process of purchasing one of these mats is not as simple as just going to a website and purchasing like a normal Ecommerce store. You need to fill out a form for which they will email you back and direct you to a Lifestyle Consultant.

I personally like to be self informed about stuff like this and would rather make my own purchasing decisions than wait for a Lifestyle Consultant to contact me back. That’s just me though.

Who is the IMRS 2000 Professional Review for?

The IMRS mat is for people who want the benefits of  PEMF Devices. According to their website they have 500,000 daily users worldwide in 40 countries. They provide magnetic resonance stimulation for wellbeing of both humans and animals.

  • Improves mobility
  • Increases energy
  • Increased Strength
  • Improved circulation of blood
  • Improved Immune system
  • Repairs cells
  • Detoxifies cells

What I also found interesting about IMRS is that they targeted people who have animals in their marketing and they actually have products specifically for animals such as horses, cows and other large mammals. These products include leg wraps, covers and probe applicators specialised for these animals . I thought this was a pretty clever idea by them as it is pretty hard to find these types of therapy solutions for bigger animals.

Where it Rates

Healing Properties: IMRS Pro featured just one healing property which was the PEMF Therapy. It excluded the other four healing properties (far infrared, negative ion, crystal and photon therapy). The IMRS Pro mat features 4 different frequency settings for PEMF which measure .5, 3 , 5.5 and 15 Hertz. Comparing this to the Schumann Fundamental resonance of 7.83 the range seems to skip it all together. It does however come close to the second order resonance located at 14.1 Hertz. These frequencies depend on what applicator is being used (body mat, pad and probe). Overall it is great that the iMRS Pro has 4 PEMF settings but it only got one point because it only provides one kind of therapy in this field.

It’s intensities are rated from .0009 to 3 Gauss, once again depending on which applicator you use. We will go into what applicator gives what kind of frequency below. Keep in mind the earth’s intensities run from .250 to .650 Gauss. For quick PEMF Therapy treatment many studies have stated that anything under 10 Gauss is optimal.

Ease of Use

IMRS does feature a good amount of videos and has some brief information on their products but, you really have to dive down to see the specifics of their products. Both their main websites (imrs.com and swissbionic.com) lack any kind of detailed information whatsoever. This kind of thing drives me crazy as I believe each website should fully unveil the specs of the products instead of briefly going over the benefits of using it. If you go to imrs2000.com you get more detailed information about the product.

Even further if you want to purchase the product you have to fill out a form and mention who referred you. I personally prefer the Ecommerce method of just being able to purchase right on the site instead of having to enquire about purchasing an item.

Warranty

IMRS does not have a money back guarantee or return policy of anysort. Swiss Bionic does not do returns at all. Instead they do a rent to own program where your rent out the product until you pay the full product price. Basically you would have to pay a one month $500 fee with the rent to own program just to try it out and another $1000 safety deposit which you can eventually get back. This baffles me and I can’t imagine how many people went on to order only to find out they can’t even return this product.

Their warranty is pretty good though, it comes with a 3 year warranty on manufacturing defects. The only problem is, that you (the customer) have to pay return shipping. You would also be responsible for the product going missing in the mail.

Price

Another area where the iMRS 2000 mat Pro lost a lot of points is the cost of the product. The price tag for the iMRS 2000 Professional is $5,545.00, which is pretty expensive. Having said that the price tag is less if you go down to their basic model which is the iMRS Wellfit that starts at $3775.00. This is still over double the amount that you have to pay for the Best Rated PEMF Mat

How it Works

imrs 2000 professional review

iMRS uses one main therapy which is Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF)

PEMF Therapy

iMRS uses PEMF therapy to help improve and maintain your body’s and cellular functions by means of PEMF Therapy bursts. These PEMF bursts help improve your cellular functions by stimulating your cells to a range of frequencies that mimic the Earth’s magnetic field. When your cell goes through magnetic polarity it improves your blood circulation into vessels and tissues within your full body. In the case of iMRS you can simply achieve this with 20 minute sessions.

The frequency range in which the iMRS Pro operates from the controller is .5, 3, 5.5 and 15 Hertz . The controller also features eight different intensity settings as well as two different types of waveform which we will go over with each applicator.

Full Body Applicator and Local Applicator Pad

Using three pairs of coils throughout each part the mat. The Full Body Applicator uses PEMF pulsations of .45 Gauss. This is within the magnetic intensity range of planet earth (.250 to .650) but it is giving you a weaker intensity range as compares to the Best Rated PEMF Mat which can give you 3 Gauss which allows you to spend less time on the mat.

The Probe Applicator

The probe applicator actually gives you the proper intensity level for shorter bursts at 3 gauss but the only problem is that it is designed for more targeted areas like your arms, ankles, knees and elbows. This in theory is great but you would have to spend 20 minutes holding it to the proper targeted location to get the full effect of PEMF. Still though, I do like the idea of the Probe Applicator but would prefer if it had a higher Gauss for those targeted areas. Anything with a Gauss rating of 10 and under is acceptable to use for shorter periods.

pemf waves

The iMRS Pro mat uses two different types of waveforms, the sawtooth waveforms and the square waveforms (also known an Biphasic) . The Sawtooth style of waveform is used only in the mats while the other applicators like the pad and probe use square waveforms. There is a lot of debate within the PEMF community as to which is more effective. The most important thing to note when talking about these waveforms is which give the greatest rise and fall. Equally it appears that the square (or biphasic) and the Sawtooth do appear to have greater efficiency in delivering PEMF to the Cell’s Membrane than the sine wave which is more more rounded and gradual in it’s rise and fall

Sizes

Similar to the Bemer mat the applicators do not so much go by size but more the amount of accessories it comes with. There are three different types.

The Controller

The controller is where all the PEMF benefits take place. The controller unit is built with an insulated housing which helps shield from EMF damage from appliances. The controller is relatively simple to use. Simply power it on and select which applicator you will be using (Mat, pillow, probe). You can choose how long you want to to use the PEMF Therapy for what PEMF intensity you need as well as which section of the mat you want to power it at and what Hertz you want to use.

Certifications

The folks at iMRS did do their due diligence when it came to certifications. As they have the following Credentials

FDA Regulated: iMRS has an FDA listing as a class 1 under a Massager, Therapeutic, Electric. Because it has been listed as a massage device it does not need requirement of a 510 (K).

MDC Certified : Working in the medical field in Europe, it is a good idea to be MDC certified for the devices to be approved for safe use. The MDC is an independent review company

CB Test Certified: Insures that the product electronically safe and has major electromagnetic compatibility across the globe.

CE Test Certified: Insures that the device is safe to use within Europe

Health Canada Certified: The Licence is issued in accordance with section 36 of the Medical Devices Regulations. It is approved for the Control unit, Applicator Mat, Applicator Cushion and the Applicator Probe which are all the main components of the iMRS Pro.

iMRS has clearly done their homework here as they claim to have the most in house testing out of any PEMF mat out there. They covered all of their bases here and made sure that they got main certifications in Europe but also North American governing bodies as well which is crucial.

Warranty

iMRS has a manufacturing warranty of 3 years which is the highest rated in the field along with Bemer Mat and Healthy Wave’s Additional 5 year warranty.

Where things start to become really fuzzy with iMRS is that they have No Return Policy. None, zilch, zero. In simple terms this means that you cannot return the product at all. This really should be noted for customers who want to buy an iMRS mat as if they don’t like it they are effectively stuck with it.

If you have made a final purchasing decision you should go for the “rent to own” option of the iMRS mat. The first month they charge you $500 with a $1000 down security deposit. If in the end you actually like the mat and want to keep it then $1500 is taken off of you bill depending on which mat that you choose in the end. If you do not like it then you will receive your $1000 security deposit but will still be down $500 because of the original $500 charge.

Essentially you are paying at least $500 to try a product out. This differs greatly from the #1 Rated Pemf Mat where you can essentially try it for a free 45 day period and return without paying shipping.
